Over the weekend, both American filmmaker Quentin Tarantino and Australian singing legend Kylie Minogue were spotted working together on a film set in the town of Porthcawl, Wales.
Questions quickly spiked as to what exactly it was they were working on, with most landing on the idea of a commercial. Turns out that’s not the case.
Variety reports that the project is indeed a new film titled “Tangled Up in Blue” and co-stars Jason Isaacs, Allison Williams, Sofia Boutella and RZA. Local Welsh actors like Karen Paullada, Julian Lewis Jones, Craig Russell and Siwan Morris also star.
Tarantino and Minogue were spotted shooting scenes of a funeral at Newton Church and a wake at the Saltwater Inn claims the local press.
The project hails from filmmaker Jamie Adams who directs while Sabine Stener, Randy Kleinman and Jordan Yale Levine produce for Visor Entertainment.
Adams and Tarantino previously teamed on “Only What We Carry,” a film shot in just six days in Deauville, France and co-stars Simon Pegg and Charlotte Gainsbourg. That premiered at Tribeca the other week.
