A bunch of TV promo trailers have been released in the last day or two.
First up, Netflix has released the teaser trailer for the second season of its Emmy Award-winning series “Beef,” which returns with a new cast including Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny. The series returns on April 16th.
In the new season, a Gen-Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their Millennial boss and his wife at a country club, setting off a high-stakes game of favours and coercion within an elitist world ruled by a Korean billionaire.
Next, Hulu has posted the official trailer for “The Testaments,” the sequel to the award-winning dystopian drama “The Handmaid’s Tale,” which premieres with three episodes on April 8th.
This is a coming-of-age thriller starring Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday and Ann Dowd and follows two young teens, one a convert from beyond Gilead’s borders, navigating the gilded halls of Aunt Lydia’s elite preparatory school for future wives.
Then there’s the new full trailer for the second season of Apple TV’s “Your Friends and Neighbours,” the Jon Hamm-led series returning on April 3rd.
The series follows a fired hedge fund manager, still grappling with his recent divorce, wjp resorts to stealing from the homes of his neighbors in an exceedingly affluent region – only to discover that the secrets and affairs hidden behind those wealthy facades might be more dangerous than he ever imagined.
After that, AMC has premiered the trailer for the Silicon Valley-set show “The Audacity” which hails from Jonathan Glatzer. Billy Magnussen, Sarah Goldberg, and Zach Galifianakis lead the cast of the series about an audacious data-mining CEO striving to turn insight and influence into profit and power.
Then, Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the U.S. debut of Anderson Spider Silva, a biographical sports drama series about the life of UFC champion Anderson Silva which begins streaming on Saturday.
Raised by his aunt and uncle on the outskirts of Curitiba, Anderson faced a challenging childhood and found in martial arts a transformative path. William Nascimento, Bruno Vinicius and Caetano Vieira star.
Finally, there’s a new teaser for the fourth season of “Invincible,” the new trailer putting the spotlight on primary antagonist and Viltrumite villain Thragg (voiced by Lee Pace). The new season returns on March 18th.
