A24 has premiered the official trailer for the music drama “The Moment” starring Grammy Award winner Charli XCX in her first leading role in a feature film.
In the film, a rising pop star navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut.
Rosanna Arquette, Alexander Skarsgård, Hailey Benton Gates, Kate Berlant, Jaime Demetriou, Kylie Jenner, Isaac Powell, Rachel Sennott, Rish Shah, Arielle Dombasle, Trew Mullen, Sarah Beck Mather, Riana Duce, and Richard Perez co-star.
Scottish filmmaker Aidan Zamiri, who has helmed multiple music videos, makes his feature-length directorial debut on the film that is produced by Charli XCX and David Hinojosa.
Other crew members include director of photography Sean Price Williams, editor Billy Sneddon, production designer Francesca Di Mottola, and composer Alexander Guy Cook.
Zamiri also co-wrote the screenplay with Bertie Brandes. The film opens in cinemas on January 30th.
Charlie XCX will soon be seen in the romance-fantasy “100 Nights of Hero” along with Cathy Yan’s “The Gallerist,” and Olivia Wilde’s “I Want Your Sex”
