Disney has released a bunch of clips from “TRON: Ares” ahead of the film’s release in two weeks.
The clips showcase multiple light cycle chases along with a scene in which Ares (Jared Leto) is unveiled to VIPs, and a discussion between Gillian Anderson and Evan Peters’ mother-and-son characters.
“TRON: Ares” follows a highly sophisticated program names Ares (Leto) who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.
Also starring are Jodie Turner-Smith, Greta Lee, Hasan Minhaj, Cameron Monaghan, and Jeff Bridges.
Nine Inch Nails did the score for the film which was shot in Vancouver last year by filmmaker Joachim Rønning (“Kon-Tiki,” “Young Woman and the Sea”).
The film has been co-written by Jesse Wigutow (“Daredevil: Born Again”) and Jack Thorne (“Adolescence”)
“TRON: Ares” is set to hit cinemas on October 10th.
