Lionsgate has debuted the first trailer for “Saw X,” the tenth entry overall and the first since “Spiral” two years ago. This one features the return of Tobin Bell as John Kramer/Jigsaw.
Set between the events of “Saw” and “Saw II,” a sick and desperate John Kramer travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable.
Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious and deranged traps.
The new film sees franchise vet Shawnee Smith also returning Amanda Young. Synnove Macody Lund, Michael Beach, and Steven Brand co-star. Kevin Greutert (“Saw VI,” “Saw: The Final Chapter”) helms the project, which is scheduled to open on September 29th.
