Max has premiered the trailer for the eleven-episode second season of its “Sex and the City” sequel series “And Just Like That…”.
The new run takes place a year after Big’s death with Carrie trying to move forward. Meanwhile, Charlotte gets an unexpected job opportunity, and Miranda faces the challenges of being in a new relationship.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis reprise their roles as Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte in the new run and are joined by Sara Ramirez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, and Alexa Swinton.
The trailer also offers a brief glimpse of Carrie’s long-awaited reunion with Aidan (John Corbett), but no glimpse of Kim Cattrall’s Samantha Jones who is reportedly making a brief cameo.
Michael Patrick King returns as showrunner for the new season, and executive produces with the three main stars along with John Melfi, Julie Rottenberg, and Elisa Zuritsky.
“And Just Like That…” premieres exclusively on Max on June 22nd.
