AMC has released the full-length trailer from its TV series adaptation of Anne Rice’s supernatural horror novel trilogy “Lives of the Mayfair Witches” which will premiere on January 5th.
Alexandra Daddario stars as an intuitive young neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations.
Harry Hamlin, Jack Huston, Beth Grant, Jan Richards, Hannah Alline and Tongayi Chirisa co-star, whilst Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford (“Masters of Sex”) pen and executive produce the series with Spalding also set as the showrunner.
“Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches” will consist of eight episodes and is the second project in the network’s planned expanding Anne Rice universe following its acclaimed “Interview with the Vampire” adaptation.
