Cuban actress Mariela Garriga (“Bloodline,” “Golden Men”) has joined the cast of both “Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning” films currently in the works ahead of releases in 2023 & 2024.
Filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie shared a new image from the film, showcasing Garriga’s unknown character and including the cryptic caption: “we cannot escape the past”. What connection does she have to Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt?
Garriga joins a packed cast that includes Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, Cary Elwes and Esai Morales.
“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” arrives in cinemas on July 14th 2023, whilst “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two” hits June 28th 2024.
