Dave Bautista is in talks for the Netflix feature “Unleashed”, which has Jeff Tomsic attached to direct from a script by “Blockers” scribes Jim & Brian Kehoe.
Bautista would play a police officer who is best friends with a canine partner named Boomer that can sniff out any crime. When Boomer dies on the job, the cop pledges no more pooch partners until he is teamed with Zeus.
Bautista would also produce alongside Jonathan Meisner, Chris Bender and Jake Weiner. Bautista will next be seen in “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” and “The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special,” recently wrapped “Knock at the Cabin,” and is shooting “Dune: Volume Two”.
