Jack O’Connell, Patrick Dempsey and Sarah Gadon are rounding out the main cast of Michael Mann’s upcoming race car drama “Ferrari”.
The trio join Adam Driver, Penelope Cruz, Shailene Woodley and Gabriel Leone in the film which will begin filming August 1st in Italy.
The film is set during the summer of 1957. Ex-racecar driver, Ferrari (Driver), is in crisis. Bankruptcy stalks the company he and his wife, Laura (Woodley), built from nothing ten years earlier.
Their tempestuous marriage struggles with the mourning for one son and the acknowledgement of another. He decides to counter his losses by rolling the dice on one race – 1,000 miles across Italy, the iconic Mille Miglia.
