“Y Tu Mama Tambien” and “Rudo y Cursi” co-stars Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal are set to reunite for Spanish-language limited series “La Maquina” at Hulu and Searchlight Television (“The Dropout”).
Bernal plays an aging boxer whose crafty manager (Luna) secures him one last shot at a title. But to make it to fight night, they must navigate a mysterious underworld force.
Marco Ramirez penned the series and serves as showrunner and executive producer. Both Luna and García Bernal will produce while Gabriel Ripstein will direct the entire series.
