Lars Von Trier’s five-episode, third and final season of his TV series “The Kingdom Exodus” has landed at global streamer MUBI.
The streamer will distribute the new final run of the classic series in North America, the UK and Ireland, Latin America, Turkey, and India following its premiere at the Venice film festival next month.
Bodil Jørgensen, Lars Mikkelsen, Mikael Persbrandt, Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Tuva Novotny star while David Dencik and Alexander Skarsgard will guest star in the haunted Copenhagen hospital drama, the new episodes coming almost 30 years after the first two seasons aired.
In addition, MUBI will also stream remastered, extended director’s cuts of the first two seasons – the episodes to feature never-before-seen footage. This will mark MUBI’s first foray into streaming a television series.
