Doctor Who
Neil Patrick Harris will guest star in the “Doctor Who” 60th anniversary special currently filming ahead of an airing next year. Russell T. Davies, who worked with Harris on the acclaimed “It’s a Sin” series, returns as ‘Who’ showrunner.

The special will serve as the introduction of Ncuti Gatwa as the new incarnation of The Doctor and will also see David Tennant and Catherine Tate return as guest stars. Bernard Cribbins and Jacqueline King, who played Donna Noble’s grandfather and mother in the series, are also tipped to be returning after being spotted on set by fans. [Source: The Independent]

Hallmark has greenlit Ride, an original primetime series about a multigenerational rodeo dynasty. Set around a small Colorado town, the story follows the lives of the Murrays as they struggle to keep their beloved ranch afloat.

Three strong women of the family – widowed rodeo queen Missy, matriarch Isabel, and former teen run-away Valeria – resolve to stand strong against all challenges and save their land. Filming begins this summer in Calgary. [Source: Ride]

Starstruck
The critically acclaimed rom-com series “Starstruck” has been renewed for a third season on HBO Max and BBC3. Rose Matafeo stars as an aimless millennial New Zealander living in East London who has a chance encounter with Tom Kapoor (Nikesh Patel), an A-list actor, on New Year’s Eve. Boo, Bitch
Netflix has premiered the trailer for the comedy limited series “Boo, Bitch” starring Lana Condor, Zoe Margaret Colletti, Mason Versaw, Aparna Brielle, Tenzing Norgay Trainor and Jason Genao. The series premieres on July 8th.

The story follows a high school senior who has lived her life safely under the radar. She seizes the opportunity to change her narrative and start living an epic life, only to find out the next morning … she’s a ghost.
