Amazon Prime has released the official trailer for the coming-of-age romantic drama series “The Summer I Turned Pretty” which launches on the streamer on June 17th.
The multigenerational drama “hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship.”
Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso, and Minnie Mills, with Colin Ferguson and Tom Everett Scott star.
The series is based on one of two popular novel trilogies by author Jenny Han, the other being “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” which became the popular Netflix film trilogy.
