British national treasure Richard E. Grant has joined “Nautilus,” the live-action drama series inspired by Jules Verne’s “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” currently in production for the Disney+ service.

Grant will guest star as the leader of Karajaan, a port town Nemo and his crew encounter on their adventures. The “Hudson Hawk” and “Withnail and I” actor is on a roll with Disney following parts in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” and an acclaimed guest turn in Marvel’s “Loki” series.

Also hopping onboard “Nautilus” are former “Black Sails” star Luke Arnold, along with Muki Zubis, Benedict Hardie and Jacob Collins Levy. Filming on the series is currently underway at Village Roadshow Studios in Queensland, Australia.
