The Disney+ service has premiered the official trailer for “Sneakerella,” a musical comedy film directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum which offers a modern-day, gender-swapped take on “Cinderella”.
After falling in love with Kira King (Lexi Underwood), the daughter of basketball star and sneaker tycoon Darius King (John Salley), an aspirant Queens sneaker designer (Chosen Jacobs) gains the confidence to pursue his dream of becoming a professional sneaker designer with the help of his best friend, Sami (Devyn Nekoda), and some Fairy Godfather magic.
Produced by Disney Channel and Jane Startz Productions, the film will be released on the Disney+ service on May 13th.
Hulu has premiered the trailer for its new original feature “Crush” in which an aspiring young artist (Rowan Blanchard) is forced to join her high school track team.
She uses it as an opportunity to pursue the girl she’s been harbouring a long-time crush on. But she soon finds herself falling for an unexpected teammate and discovers what real love feels like.
Avli’i Cravalho, Isabella Ferreira, Tyler Alvarez, Teala Dunn, Rico Paris, Addie Weyrich, Aasif Mandvi, Michelle Buteau, and Megan Mullally co-star. Sammi Cohen directs from a script by Kirsten King and Casey Rackham, and the film premieres on April 29th.
The trailer has been released for “The Railway Children Return,” a sequel to the original 1970s UK family film hit “The Railway Children”. Morgan Matthews helms the film which opens on July 15th.

HBO has premiered the trailer for “The Baby,” an eight-episode horror-comedy limited series from creators Siân Robins-Grace and Lucy Gaymer that debuts on April 24th.
