Ubisoft is reportedly working on an unannounced “Prince of Persia” game, one that will take direct inspiration from Moon Studios acclaimed “Ori” games – “Ori and the Blind Forest” and “Ori and the Will of the Wisps”.
Ubisoft Montpellier is reportedly working on the project which will likely adopt Ori’s 2.5D Metroidvania art and play style. The project is separate from the long-awaited “Prince of Persia Sands of Time” remake which is expected to be released sometime in the next year.
The new ‘Prince’ game is reportedly one of twenty Ubisoft titles rumored for a Ubisoft Forward digital showcase later this year with others expected to be an “Immortals Fenyx Rising” sequel, “The Crew 3” and the small-scale stealth-centric “Assassin’s Creed Rift”.
