Universal has set a June 9th 2023 release for their animated dog comedy “Strays” from “Barb and Star” director Josh Greenbaum. That film follows a dog who gets revenge on the dirtbag owner who ditched him.
That’s not the only date talk today. Paramount+ has greenlit a sequel to “PAW Patrol: The Movie” with a 2023 theatrical release date being targeted. The project will join a spin-off TV series already announced.
Then over at HBO Max, the streamer has announced a number of premiere dates for original films for the service. The Cole Sprouse and Lana Condor-led romantic comedy with a sci-fi twist “Moonshot” will release on March 31st.
Next, the Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan-led reboot of “Father of the Bride” is set for June 16th. In addition, the “House Party” remake is currently set for July 28th.
Finally, over on the main HBO channel, an April 27th premiere date has been set for Barry Levinson’s new film “The Survivor” starring Ben Foster.
The true story tale deals with Harry Haft who was sent to Auschwitz where he was forced into a gladiatorial boxing spectacle for the amusement of his captors.
