The first trailer for Marvel Studios’ “Moon Knight” series reportedly yielded impressive results for a Disney+ streaming show.
The trailer had its world premiere last Monday night during an NFL Wildcard Game and was quickly put online. Heat Vision reports that according to their sources, the trailer garnered over 75 million views in its first 24 hours (52m online, 23m during ESPN broadcast).
That beats the totals of “Loki” (60 million), “WandaVision” (52 million) and “Hawkeye” (41.5 million) over the same period, but not “Falcon and Winter Soldier” which had the advantage of a Super Bowl trailer airing to push it to 125 million views.
“Moon Knight” however beat them all in terms of engagement with over one million likes on the YouTube channel – well ahead of the next nearest rival “Hawkeye” (915,000).
