The first trailer is out for “Sharpshooter,” a new directorial effort from famed Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou (“Raise the Red Lantern,” “Hero,” “Shadow”).
The true story follows a young Korean sniper who injured more than 200 American soldiers over the course of a month during the Korean War.
Chen Yongsheng, Zhang Yu, and Zhang Yi co-star in the film which is set to arrive in Chinese cinemas on February 1st. A North American release has yet to be announced.
