Top Rated Telecasts Of 2021
A list of the Top 100 telecasts of the year has revealed that the Oscars ceremony, which was No. 2 in 2020, didn’t even make the top 100 in 2021.
In terms of telecasts this year, the highest ratings went to shows like “NCIS,” “Yellowstone,” “The Equalizer,” “FBI,” and “60 Minutes” whom all scored multiple episodes in the list which doesn’t include streaming where “Squid Game” easily took the viewership crown. [Source: Variety]
After Life
Netflix has released a final trailer for the third and final season of Ricky Gervais’ dark comedy “After Life” which returns on January 14th.
Gervais produces, directs, writes, and stars in the series about a newspaper writer as he grapples with grief following the death of his wife and opts to no longer hold things in no matter who he may offend or hurt.
The Kardashians
Hulu has released the first look at their new exclusive series “The Kardashians,” a show that effectively serves as the next iteration of what was “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” on E! network. Kris Jenner stars, along with various members of her family in the series which is expected to debut on Hulu later in 2022.
The Umbrella Academy
Netflix has released a series of character posters for the upcoming third season of its smash hit “The Umbrella Academy,” this one showing off the seven members of the Sparrow Academy – the alternate version of the academy left in the wake of the main group altering time.
