Earlier this year, Universal Pictures premiered a five-minute ‘prologue’ clip teasing next year’s blockbuster “Jurassic World: Dominion”.
The clip, directed by co-writer/director Colin Trevorrow, flashes back some 65 million years to the time of the dinosaurs and then jumps ahead to a time after the events of “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” with humanity and dinosaurs co-existing.
Released exclusively in cinemas with the theatrical release of “F9: The Fast Saga,” Universal never posted the piece online… until today with the clip going up via the film’s YouTube channel a few minutes ago.
Boasting effects from ILM and score by Michael Giacchino, the clip itself boasts scenes that are apparently not in the upcoming “Jurassic World: Dominion” and thus is more akin to the 2019 short film “Jurassic World: Battle at Big Rock”.
“Jurassic World: Dominion” meanwhile hits cinemas on June 10th 2022.
