Kim Cattrall has been cast as a future version of Hilary Duff’s character Sophie in the Hulu comedy series “How I Met Your Father”.
A sequel series to hit CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” Cattrall will recur as the future version Sophie who is telling her son the story of how she met his father.
It’s a story that takes us back to the year 2021 where Sophie (Duff) and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are and what they want out of life.
The cast also includes Chris Lowell, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, Francia Raisa, and Suraj Sharma. The project hails from “This Is Us” co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger who serve as writers and executive producers.
Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and Pam Fryman also executive produce.
