Netflix kicked off their first-ever TUDUM global fan event today with a look at their growing slate of anime.
First up, they announced the new film “Drifting Home” from Studio Colorido (“A Whisker Away”) which will premiere in 2022. That follows two childhood friends that drift into a mysterious sea alongside an entire housing complex. The teaser trailer is included below.
Netflix also offered key art for the long-awaited second season of “Ultraman” (in 2022) and the fourth season of “Aggretsuko” (in December). This all joins the previously announced adaptation of Mark Miller’s super-powered heist comic “Super Crooks” on November 25th (trailer below), and the Netflix original film spin-off “Bright: Samurai Soul” (featurette below) which is released on October 12th.
