We had a first look with a Superbowl ad back in February, now a proper full trailer is out for filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan’s new horror-thriller “Old”.
The “Sixth Sense” and “Glass” writer/director leaves Philadelphia behind for more tropical climes in this story about a group of vacationing people who find a dead body on a secluded beach and gradually come to realize something unnatural is happening both with time and their own aging process.
The cast includes Gael GarcÃa Bernal (“Y Tu Mama Tambien”), Vicky Krieps (“Phantom Thread”), Alex Wolff (“Hereditary”), Thomasin McKenzie (“Jojo Rabbit”), Rufus Sewell (“Dark City”), Abbey Lee (“Lovecraft Country”), Eliza Scanlen (“Little Women”), Ken Leung (“Lost”) and Embeth Davidtz (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”).
The project marks the first in a two-movie partnership with Universal, a deal giving Shyamalan essentially full creative control as he adapts Pierre Oscar Levy’s graphic novel “Sandcastle. The film opens in cinemas on July 23rd.
