Disney’s acclaimed “DuckTales” reboot is set to continue, albeit in a different form, beyond its series finale scheduled to air this coming Monday March 15th.
The scripted seven-part podcast “This Duckburg Life” sees effectively the entire main cast return including David Tennant (Scrooge McDuck), Danny Pudi (Huey), Ben Schwartz (Dewey), Bobby Moynihan (Louie), Kate Micucci (Webby Vanderquack), Beck Bennett (Launchpad McQuack), Toks Olagundoye (Mrs. Beakley), Jim Rash (Gyro Gearloose), Josh Brener (Mark Beaks), Margo Martindale (Ma Beagle), and Tony Anselmo (Donald Duck).
Two of the series writers, Megan Gonzalez and Ben Siemon, are also part of the team writing the podcast with Ben Acker and story editor Daniel Siegel.
The podcast, hosted by Huey Duck, takes the form of a broadcast for the fictional Duckburg Public Radio. A preview of the first episode is available below ahead of its March 29th premiere. Each new episode will be released each Monday on Disney XD YouTube channel, DisneyNOW and Disney XD VOD.
