HBO Max has premiered the official trailer for Aaron Sorkin’s much-anticipated “The West Wing” special, offering a look at the famed cast’s return on Thursday, October 15th.
The group put together a theatrical stage presentation of the 2002 “Hartsfield’s Landing” episode from the show’s third season. The trailer also confirms that Sterling K. Brown will be taking on the role of Leo, taking over the role from the late John Spencer.
A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote was shot over multiple days at the iconic Orpheum Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles in early October. Rob Lowe, Dule Hill, Allison Janney, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford and Martin Sheen all returned while Michelle Obama, President Bill Clinton, Lin-Manuel Miranda and more offer guest appearances.
