Saban Films has released the official trailer for Eshom and Ian Nelms’ action-comedy feature “Fatman” starring Mel Gibson as Santa Claus.
To save his declining business, Chris Cringle (aka Santa Claus) is forced into a partnership with the U.S. military. Making matters worse, Cringle gets locked into a deadly battle of wits against a highly skilled assassin, hired by a precocious twelve-year-old after receiving a lump of coal in his stocking.
Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Walton Goggins co-star in the film which opens in theaters on November 13th and gets a VOD and digital releases on November 17th.
That’s not the only Christmas-themed trailer today. Netflix has released the first trailer for “Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey,” David E. Talbert’s new sincere fable launching on the streamer November 13th.
The story is set in the town of Cobbleton and follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Forrest Whitaker), whose fanciful inventions burst with whimsy and wonder. But when his trusted apprentice (Keegan-Michael Key) steals his most prized creation, it’s up to his equally bright and inventive granddaughter (Madalen Mills) and a long-forgotten invention to heal old wounds.
