CBS All Access has begun development of the half-hour adult animated comedy TV series “The Multivorce” which is being sold as “Marriage Story mixed with Rick and Morty”.
The story follows the Gundersons, a seemingly normal American family: mother, father, three kids dealing with the complicated realities of divorce.
The key difference? While the kids spend half their weekends at their father’s terrible bachelor apartment across town, the other half is spent with their warrior queen mother in her very exciting (and often very dangerous) kingdom somewhere in the Multivorce.
The series is created and executive produced by Kirker Butler (“Family Guy,” “Life In Pieces”) and Scott Mosier (2018’s “The Grinch”) for Kapital Entertainment and CBS TV Studios. Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor also executive produce.
