Deep Silver has announced “Saints Row: The Third,” a remastered take on the classic 2011 game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC which will debut on May 22nd.
The remastered edition sees every weapon remodelled, every car redesigned and much of the city retextured with over 4,000 assets reworked by Sperasoft who’ve upgraded the environments, character models, visual effects, enhanced graphics and added in a whole new lighting engine.
The game will also feature three expansion mission packs and over 30 pieces of DLC from the original version that has been remastered.
The game sees the Third Street Saints having evolved in the years since taking over Stilwater from a street gang to household brand name with sneakers, energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobblehead dolls.
Despite their celebrity status, the Saints aren’t alone in the world as The Syndicate, a legendary global criminal fraternity, has take aim at the Saints and demands they pay tribute.
