“Mulan,” “Mutants,” “Antlers” All Delayed

Disney have been the last to flinch due to the coronavirus, but they’ve done so in a big way.

The Mouse House has pulled their live-action “Mulan,” 20th Century Studios X-Men spin-off “The New Mutants,” and Searchlight’s horror film “Antlers” all from the schedule.

The films were slated to open March 27th, April 3rd and April 17th respectively. Disney says that it’s looking at potential dates later in the year as to when next to schedule the films, and these delays are expected to happen across the globe.

Denmark, Norway and Greece all closed their cinemas today, joining China, Italy, Poland, India, Lebanon and Kuwait who’ve previously done so.

A small fortune has already been spent on marketing Disney’s “Mulan” with the world premiere originally slated to be held this Monday. The trio of delays now joins “No Time to Die,” “F9: The Fast Saga,” “A Quiet Place Part II,” “The Lovebirds, “Peter Rabbit 2” and “Blue Story” which have all been pulled or delayed.
