Warner Bros. Animation has unveiled the trailer for “Justice League Dark: Apokolips War,” an R-rated animated direct-to-video feature that will conclude the six-year story that began with 2014’s DCAU film “Justice League War” and has run for just over a dozen films since then.
Co-directed by Matt Peters and Christina Sotta, the action picks up after Darkseid has decimated planet Earth and the Justice League. Now the remaining bastions of good must regroup, strategize and take the war to Darkseid in order to save the planet and its surviving inhabitants.
The voice cast includes Matt Ryan as John Constantine, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Tony Todd as Darkseid, Jason O’Mara as Batman, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane, and Rainn Wilson as Lex Luthor.
“Justice League Dark: Apololips War” will come to Digital HD on May 5th and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and Blu-ray on May 19th.
