International Trailer: “The Hunt”

Universal Pictures has premiered an international trailer for their controversial action-thriller “The Hunt,” one with a bunch of new footage and a tonal change that downplays the dark comedy aspect.

In the film, twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don’t know where they are, or how they got there. They don’t know they’ve been chosen to be hunted for sport by a group of globalist elites.

Betty Gilpin, Hilary Swank, Ike Barinholtz, Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley, Amy Madigan and Glenn Howerton co-star in the film which famously underwent a bunch of controversy over its release last year, only to be recently put back on the schedule for a March 13th theatrical run.

Producer Jason Blum recently talked up the film, telling Fandom: “I think ‘The Hunt’ is gonna really reverberate culturally, and I’m very excited about that. That came out of nowhere too, so I don’t know where the next one comes from, but I’m always on the lookout.”

Craig Zobel helms the film from a script by Damon Lindelof and Nick Cuse.
