Branden Cook (“Industry”), Lincoln Younes (“Grand Hotel”) and Ruby Cruz (“Castle Rock”) have scored the lead roles in The CW’s retooled “The Lost Boys” pilot.
The trio will play a version of the characters originated by Jason Patrick, Kiefer Sutherland, and Jamie Gertz respectively in the original Joel Schumacher-directed 1987 horror-comedy feature.
Cook will play Garrett, the older of two brothers who moved with their mom to North Carolina, and must contend with a gang of vampires headed by charismatic leader Benjamin (Younes). Cruz plays Elsie, who connects with the new guy in town.
Heather Mitchell, Dan Etheridge and Rob Thomas are executive producing the series with Heather Mitchell penning the pilot and Marcos Siega helming.
