Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” is currently shooting in London with parts of the city and the UK doubling for Gotham City in the feature.
Now a new report at The Daily Record claims that the film will also shoot in Glasgow next month which will also be transformed to resemble parts of Gotham – more specifically some of its streets. The paper claims it will be the first opportunity for fans to catch a glimpse of the new Batmobile.
The project joins other films such as “World War Z” and “Hobbs & Shaw” have shot in Glasgow in recent years.
Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrell, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Andy Serkis and Jeffrey Wright co-star in the film which is slated to be released June 2021.
