Hathaway, Robbins Join DuPont Case Film

Anne Hathaway and Tim Robbins will join Mark Ruffalo in a currently untitled drama based on the Nathaniel Rich article “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare”. Filming begins next week in Cincinnati.

Following the casting of Mark Ruffalo (Avengers: Infinity War) in the lead role for the upcoming drama based on Nathaniel Rich’s New York Times Magazine article “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare,” Participant Media has announced the additions of Anne Hathaway (Ocean’s 8) and Tim Robbins (Here and Now) to the cast.

The story follows Robert Bilott, a corporate defense attorney as he takes on one of the most prolific cases in his career: an environmental suit against the chemical company DuPont as they’re exposed for a decades-long history of chemical pollution.

Bill Camp, Victor Garber, Mare Winningham, William Jackson Harper and Bill Pullman co-star. Matthew Carnahan and Mario Correa are scripting while Todd Haynes (“Carol”) is helming the project. Ruffalo, Pamela Koffler and Christine Vachon will produce.
