Ron Howard’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story” has become the No. 2 movie this year in terms of its first 24 hours of pre-sales, trailing only “Avengers: Infinity War” on both Fandango and Atom Tickets.
“Solo” has reportedly sold double the tickets that “Black Panther” did in its first 24 hours – ‘Panther’ sits in the No. 3 spot in terms of 24-hour pre-sales this year.
“Solo” is presently tracking to earn more than $170 million over the four-day Memorial Day weekend. It opens everywhere on May 25th.
