The American Customer Satisfaction Index has released a new report which, as of early February this year, has Netflix original programming scoring higher marks than any of its competitors in the field.

Netflix customers have given the streamer’s original content a score of 81/100 – up 2.5% since the previous report in May last year. By comparison, HBO Now scored 79 (up 2.5%), Amazon Prime was 76 (up 4%), Hulu was 75 (up 1%), CBS All Access was 75 (down 1%), and YouTube Originals were steady at 72/100.

Netflix is spending more on content than rivals by several billion and is expected to spend some $15 billion on content in 2019 with 85% of that on new originals. of last fall, Netflix had 245 original series on the service and another 257 in development.

The streamer made headlines earlier this week with the official cancellation of both “The Punisher” and “Jessica Jones” which has led to Frank Castle fanboy Eminem raging against them in a tweet Wednesday, saying: “DEAR @NETFLIX, REGARDING YOUR CANCELLATION OF THE PUNISHER, YOU ARE BLOWING IT!! SINCERELY, MARSHALL”.
