New details have emerged regarding the next project of beloved filmmaker Wes Anderson (“The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “The Royal Tenenbaums”).
Yesterday came word fromSudoUest (via The Playlist) that Anderson is reportedly using France, his current home, as the location for the shoot of his next project which will begin filming around Angouleme starting in February.
They also indicate the story is set right after the second World War, but further specifics including the storyline and title are under wraps. Today comes word from Charente Libre that the film, which will likely hit cinemas in 2020, will be a musical.
No word on casting as yet but it’s likely some Anderson regulars will show up and belt out a few numbers.
