Every Year After
Amazon Prime Video has renewed “Every Year After” for a second season at the streamer, the renewal order coming less than a month after the show’s debut. The series is based on Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel “Every Summer After”.

The first season follows childhood sweethearts Percy Fraser (Sadie Soverall) and Sam Florek (Matt Cornett), who reunite a decade after their breakup when he returns to his hometown. The second season will adapt the next book, “One Golden Summer”. Amy B. Harris serves as showrunner. [Source: Variety]

House of the Dragon
The third season premiere of “Game of Thrones” spin-off “House of the Dragon” pulled in a Live+3 viewership of 21.5 million across HBO and HBO Max – a drop of 8% from the 23.4 million who tuned into the second season premiere two years ago.

The series drew 7.8 million viewers across platforms on Sunday night alone, down from the series high viewership of 8.9 million viewers for the second season finale. [Source: The Wrap]

Far Cry
Lizzy Caplan has joined the cast of FX‘s upcoming film adaptation of the “Far Cry” video game franchise. Noah Hawley (“Alien: Earth”) and Rob Mac (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) created the series and Mac also stars. The series will follow an anthology format with casts/story/settings changing each season. [Source: Variety]

Breaking Bear
A trailer has been released for Tom Delonge’s new animated TV series “Breaking Bear” starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Brendan Fraser, Annie Murphy, Josh Gad, and Elizabeth Hurley.

The story follows three bears who wake up after hibernation to find someone’s fracking the forest. They become meth dealers in order to save it. The series premieres on Tubi on July 24th.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners
Netflix has confirmed a Fall return for the second season of Studio Trigger’s acclaimed animated series “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” which is set in the world of the “Cyberpunk 2077” video game. Bartosz Sztybor serves as showrunner while Kai Ikarashi directs.

The new ten-episode run is expected to follow a whole new cast of characters and their stories. The first poster art is out, with the trailer coming tomorrow.
