A keen “Star Wars” fan has come upon an interesting find and seems to have pretty good evidence to back up their claim – that the film’s final shot is the product of post-production tweaking.
“STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER” SPOILERS AHEAD
The film ends with Rey standing in the Tatooine desert looking at the double sunset alongside BB-8 and outside Luke’s old childhood home.
A Twitter user has pointed out that the film’s final shot is the product of post-production tweaking, in fact it’s a re-edited shot from earlier in the film when Rey was on the desert planet Pasaana waiting for Kylo Ren’s oncoming TIE Fighter.
Fan theories are now flying over whether the film’s ending has been changed and could’ve ended with Ben Solo surviving. Whatever the case, those involved haven’t spoken about the scene as yet.
The shot of Daisy “standing in front of the twin suns” is very clearly taken from the footage of her standing on Passana, waiting for the Tie Fighter. pic.twitter.com/NWtBQUz3Jc
