Elisabeth Shue is set to star alongside Julie Delpy in the Canal+ and Netflix dramedy series “On the Verge”. Both women will executive produce the series which was created by Delpy who co-writes with Alexia Landeau.
The twelve-episode series follows four female friends in their late forties who chose to use midlife not as a time of mourning their youth, but as an opportunity for personal reinvention with the hope of finally living lives that embody their beliefs and values.
Michael Gentile and Lauraine Heftler will also executive produce. Canal+ will air the series in France, with Netflix distributing it in the rest of world.
Shue appeared in the first season of “The Boys” and will soon be seen in the Tom Hanks-led war film “Greyhound”.
