Paramount Pictures is offering a surprise for horror fans, posting a 20 second teaser for John Krasinski’s “A Quiet Place: Part II” in cinemas today with copies of the second remake of “Black Christmas”. Review for the new “Black Christmas” are not good, although are markedly better than the outright panned first remake.
The ‘Quiet Place’ clip is expected to be a cinema only-experience with no plans to put it online for now, though a proper first trailer for the feature is expected to launch quite soon. Said clip picks up right after the end of the first film with Emily Blunt’s character bandaging up their foot and struggling to stay quiet alongside her children.
Speaking of cinema only clips, Trailer Track confirms that the 6.5 minute IMAX-format prologue for Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” will be screened with copies of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” at IMAX screenings and will also be played outside the US/Canada in select IMAX cinema outlets. Which ones aren’t clear at this time.
No word as yet on when a more regular “Tenet” trailer will be released beyond the bootlegged ‘cinema only’ copy from back in July. The film’s official account though did tease something is coming with this post today:
