Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel kicks off this evening at 8:30pm US-ET/5:30pm US-PT with a huge number of major announcements expected to be made regarding the MCU’s future.
Ahead of that, Marvel has taken over parts of the expo’s floor and with it have come some costumes, including a big reveal – a good look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom costume.
While the character’s design has been glimpsed in art, the recent trailer for the film still kept him somewhat obscured beyond close-ups and some long shots. Photos from the display show it off in all its well-lit glory.
Also on display have been outfits for Latverian witches – one green, one yellow and one purple. Speculation is high that these characters are existing ones we’ve seen in the MCU such as Scarlet Witch, Clea and Sylvie.
The recently released first full trailer reportedly amassed a stunning 503 million views in 24 hours – the second-biggest movie trailer launch of all time. That said, the trailer drew a mixed reaction from some corners over its visuals and emotional impact.
The film’s massive casdt includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Rudd, Robert Downey Jr., Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway.
“Avengers: Doomsday” is set to be released in cinemas on December 18th.
