Claire Denis’ sci-fi drama “High Life,”starring Robert Pattinson and Juliette Binoche, has been given an April 12th 2019 limited U.S. release by distributor A24. The film premiered at Toronto back in September to very good reviews.
In the film a group of criminals are sent on an alternative energy finding mission in space. Monte, one of the criminals on board previously had a daughter, Willow, against his will through artificial insemination, but comes to love her as they near the end of their journey.
Also today, Fox Searchlight’s “The Aftermath, which was originally scheduled to open April 26th, has been moved up to March 15th.
The film is set in post-World War II Germany in 1946 and follows Rachel Morgan (Keira Knightley), the wife of a British colonel who discovers he has made a decision to move them to a new home in Germany, where they will share it with the previous owners, a German widower (Alexander Skarsgard) and his troubled daughter.
