A little over six months ago, Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for their film adaptation of the beloved SEGA gaming franchise “Sonic the Hedgehog”.
The outcry was immediate and loud, the film slammed for its design which changed the character drastically from his original game design to the point of being essentially unrecognisable.
Now, finally, the studio has unveiled two new trailers with both showing off Sonic’s new look – one very much closer to that of the games.
The film itself stars James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Neal McDonough, Adam Pally and the voice of Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic in a story about Sonic’s attempts to battle the evil Doctor Robotnik, who is on a quest to assemble the Chaos emeralds, in the modern world.
“Sonic the Hedgehog” opens in cinemas November 8th.
