Constantin Film and JB Pictures are set to fast-track development on an as-yet-untitled action-horror movie about the re-emergence of the prehistoric Titanoboa.
Essentially a film aiming to do for snakes what “The Meg” did for sharks, the now extinct creature lived in Colombia and could grow up to 12.8 meters long and weigh over a metric tonne.
The project hails from much of the same producing team behind the smash “Resident Evil” movie series and recently finished shooting an adaptation of the “Monster Hunter” video game series.
Tony Giglio (“Doom: Annihilation”) is aboard to write the screenplay. Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kulzer are producing the film which will shoot in 2020.
