All 25 Bond Films Hit Amazon Next Week

EON, MGM

Amazon Prime Video has announced that all 25 official James Bond films – from “Dr. No” to “No Time to Die” – are set to come to the service next week starting Wednesday, October 5th.

The movies will also be released with an exclusive documentary called “The Sound of 007” produced by filmmaker Mat Whitecross and following the six-decade history of the musical scores in the James Bond franchise.

The films will be available for a limited time to Prime Video subscribers in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Latin American, Spain, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. This reportedly marks the first time that all the official James Bond films will all be available for streaming on the same platform (at least in the United States).

The release is a result of both the Bond franchise’s 60th anniversary and Amazon’s $8.45 billion deal last year to acquire MGM. The Bond franchise has grossed over $19.8 billion worldwide to date.

Amazon will also live-steam “The Sound of 007: LIVE” concert film from the Royal Albert Hall on October 4th with original Bond recording artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Lulu, Chrissie Hynde, and Garbage performing their themes.
