So far minimally marketed with the focus entirely on its two name stars and 2-3 sentence premise, tomorrow we’ll finally get a look at the first trailer for “The Imitation Game” helmer Morten Tyldum’s sci-fi drama “Passengers” starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt.
Today, Sony Pictures has unveiled a teaser for the trailer which offers a few seconds of footage. The movie takes place on a luxury spaceship bound for a human colony over a century away. Two of the passengers are mysteriously awakened ninety years too early, they strike up a relationship and quickly become the ship’s only hope of recovering from a serious malfunction.
Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne, and Aurora Perrineau also star while Jon Spaihts penned the script. The film is slated to open in cinemas on December 21st.
