Spyglass Entertainment is set to begin shooting its drama “Vandals” this summer reports Variety.
Penned by Matt Cirulnick (“Stones,” “Elysium”), the story follows a budding artist who moves from the Midwest to New York, finding an artistic outlet in the graffiti subculture.
The film will take a “Saturday Night Fever”-like look at the growing trend of graffiti gangs that are once again marking up New York City.
Prolific music video director Jake Nava will make his feature directing debut.
